Our goal is to provide a full-service facility for clients to get everything they need in order to perform at their very best. We specialize in creating programs and packages that fit your needs and your budget. We take pride in giving each client the individual attention that they deserve. This is not a cookie-cutter program where everyone completes the same workout. Your individual situation will be assessed by our staff and you will work together to come up with the most appropriate training program for YOUR needs. Because of this approach we are able to work with our clients year-round whether they are in-season, out of season, recovering from injury, looking to lose weight, or build muscle.
Jake and his wife Ashley started Forshey Training Systems back in 2012 in a 200sq ft garage. His background in physical therapy has allowed him to train athletes to move more efficiently and avoid serious injury while doing so.
Jake has experience training athletes from all sports at all ages but now focuses mostly on college football, volleyball and baseball. He is the head S&C coach at Linn Benton Community College and when he’s not training athletes he enjoys hunting, fishing, working on his house and truck, and spending time with his wife and 3 kids.

DIRECTOR OF OPERATIONS
Samantha Smith is our S.W.E.A.T class owner. She is the mom of 2 miracle babies, Rusty Lynn (4) and Kingston Jay (1) and married 6 years to her childhood crush.
She started with FTS back in 2014 and later started our first FTS general population classes. As interest grew she started doing more semi-private training and after learning that her and David would be welcoming a little girl in September of 2015 she even started Maternity classes for expecting moms.
We quickly realized that these classes needed their own name and S.W.E.A.T fits perfectly. Samantha has trained many women, of all ages and fitness levels. Expecting moms, postpartum moms, high school students, college students, grandmas, grandpas, dads, uncles... that’s the variety we offer and will always stand by. We want to provide a space for you, no excuses, bring your kids, grandkids or no kids and get your SWEAT on!

Chris fell in love with fitness about 10 years ago and has been experimenting with programs in the gym ever since. Chris worked at Gold's Gym in Santa Barbara, CA for 6 years before moving to Salem to help us train athletes. His biggest training influences are Joe DeFranco, James "Smitty" Smith, Jason Ferruggia, and Jim Stoppani.
When Chris is not in the gym working out or training others he enjoys experimenting with new recipes, running Spartan Races, hiking, wake boarding, and snowboarding. He is obsessed with being the best version of himself and can't wait to help you become the best version of your self as well.
Tyler was an athlete here at the gym through high school before he became a trainer. After deciding to retire as a competitive gymnast he knew he wanted to get serious about football. he decided to dedicate himself on the field, the weight room, and in the film room resulting in having a successful high school career and two years playing at Linfield College.
After the two years he spent playing football in college, he decided to focus more on his career in Strength and Conditioning. As soon as we knew he wanted to pursue a career in S&C we knew we needed to bring him on staff.
